IPPAN Visits Comrade Nevkaa, Hails Governor Alia's Developmental Strides

The National Vice-president of the Independent Print Media Publishers Association of Nigeria (IPPAN), Elder Edward Kwaghaondo, recently led other EXCO members on a solidarity visit to Comrade Nevkaa Jacob Tarnenge, Principal Special Assistant to the Benue State Governor on Youths and Sports.
This gesture aimed to appreciate Comrade Nevkaa’s contributions to Governor Hyacinth Alia’s developmental agenda.
Comrade Nevkaa’s philanthropic efforts, particularly awarding a scholarship to 12-year-old author, Favour China Jiji, daughter of IPPAN’s Welfare Secretary, Prophet Jiji Jack, have earned him recognition.
His dedication to community development, exemplified by constructing a borehole in his hometown using his initial public servant salary, resonates with IPPAN’s grassroots publishing ethos.
During the visit, Comrade Nevkaa shared insights into Governor Alia’s security initiatives, emphasizing vigilance and collective responsibility.
He outlined plans to appoint liaison officers for 276 council wards, collaborating with security agencies, traditional rulers, and community leaders to ensure safety.
Additionally, Comrade Nevkaa announced Governor Alia’s plan to commence bursary awards for Benue State students in 2025, alleviating their hardship.
He urged support for Governor Alia’s visionary leadership.
This visit underscores IPPAN’s commitment to promoting development and acknowledging dedicated public servants like Comrade Nevkaa.
