2,500 Batch C Stream II Corps Members have successfully taken their oath of allegiance in Nasarawa State, marking the beginning of their orientation course.
The ceremony, which took place at the Magaji Danyamusa NYSC permanent orientation camp on January 24, 2025, was attended by the acting Governor of Nasarawa State, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, and other dignitaries.
During the ceremony, the Deputy Governor congratulated the corps members on their successful completion of studies and swearing-in ceremony.
He also expressed the government’s commitment to the welfare of the corps members and highlighted the ongoing construction of a new 2,000-capacity hall as evidence of the state government’s support for the NYSC.
The NYSC Nasarawa State Coordinator, Salamatu A. Muhammad, emphasized the importance of the orientation course in fostering unity, cultural understanding, and patriotism.
She advised the corps members to shun social vices and participate in mandatory activities such as the Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) program, physical training, and intellectual lectures.
This development is part of the NYSC’s 2024 Batch C Stream II mobilization, which aims to provide young Nigerians with opportunities for national service, skill development, and community engagement.
